Lake Winnipesaukee

Story: We recently had the opportunity to work with a client in the Lakes Region in New Hampshire.  Also located in the Lakes Region is Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in the state of New Hampshire. It measures approximately 9 miles wide by 21 miles long. With nearly 258 islands and 288 miles of shoreline, the lake is massive. The lake is home to many big names like the Romney’s, Swenson’s, and some un-named Delta airline royalty.

Favorite Activity: A travel highlight was when we were invited out to a lake house on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Where to eat: Lakehouse Grille in Church Landing at Mill Falls. The bank we worked with was gracious enough to take us to this great restaurant overlooking Meredith Bay. Highlights were the Surf & Turf paired with the Common Man Ale, of course.

What to Do: Just about anything on the lake;  a boat ride, dinner, swimming, and much more. Don’t forget to check into events at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.
