About Melissa

Melissa Turner is a seasoned banking professional with over 35 years of industry experience, bringing deep expertise in deposit services, operations, and regulatory compliance. A lifelong Nebraskan, she began her banking career in 1990, working in community banks throughout high school and college as a teller and customer service representative, where she developed a strong foundation in customer relationships and frontline banking operations.  She graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelors of Administration in Business with an emphasis in Management.

Melissa joined Fiserv in 1997 and worked in Deposit Support and Core Implementations. Here she supported financial institutions in the implementation and utilization of ITI/Premier software. This experience strengthened her technical expertise and provided a comprehensive understanding of banking systems and operational efficiency.

Melissa later served as Vice President of Deposit Services at a community bank spanning Southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. In this leadership role, she was responsible for driving deposit growth, enhancing the customer experience, and overseeing deposit operations. She is highly skilled in Fiserv Precision software, Integrated Teller,  Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, deposit compliance, and operational best practices.

Known for her ability to streamline processes and develop effective procedures, Melissa excels at identifying opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and growth within financial institutions. Her collaborative approach and commitment to excellence make her a trusted leader and partner within the banking industry.

Outside of her professional work, Melissa is actively involved in her community through volunteer efforts and enjoys spending time with her family playing board games, enjoying a round of golf, or on the water.
